Results of using 3-D simulation methods in treatment of midfacial fractures

The article publishes the results of treatment 27 patients with fractures face middle area, which 14 used standard titanium mini-plates to reposition fragments, and 13 – individual 3D simulated / grids. Before after treatment, its effectiveness was assessed by values displacements bone fragments index visual-analog scale, allows determining functional cosmetic effect surgery. It found that use grids allowed obtaining in 85 % not exceeding 3 mm. In 72 whom were used, displacement surgery 3.1–6 mm, is significantly greater than group modeling structures.
 On 7th day first (treatment mini-plates), on scale 11 (7; 13), (p=0.00147) less before second using grids) visual analog 4 (6; 8) points, (Z=3.3; p=0.00098) Comparison groups revealed presence significant (U=2.47; p=0.013) differences. obtained testify efficiency modeled comparison mini-plates.
